Although desktops and notebooks already have their physical keyboard, resorting to the virtual version of Windows may be necessary. If the user has a problem with the peripheral functioning or needs a digital solution, using the tool on the computer can be useful.
With that in mind, the TecMundo brought a tutorial on how to activate the virtual keyboard in Windows 11. The tutorial, however, also works for the Windows 10 version of the operating system.
1. Open device settings
The first step to activate your virtual keyboard is to open the device settings. To do this, click on the Windows symbol at the bottom of your computer and then select “Settings”.
2. Enter accessibility
On the Windows settings screen, click “Accessibility” and then scroll down until you find “Keyboard“.
3. Activate the virtual keyboard
In keyboard settings, search for “virtual keyboard” and click on the gray button next to the name to activate it. Then wait a few seconds for the tool to appear on the screen.
The operation of the virtual keyboard is very simple and practical, the user just needs to click on the letters and numbers to build his text. When browsing or watching content, the user can minimize the keyboard, opening it only when necessary.
